Our Story

The Kambarami School was founded in 1935 by Gore Kambarami. In the rural Murewa district which is situated in Mashonaland East Province of Zimbabwe. Mr Kambarami’s goal was to develop a whole child and to give children in his community a future.

The community is propelled by a unit of purpose and a common vision to make The Kamabarami school an Ideal school that will develop the whole child. This consists of education, culture and sports.

The Kambarami school began a partnership with the Vienna Celtics Rugby Football Club in 1997 thanks to Kudzai Kambarami (grandson of the schools founder).

The rugby team found sponsors throughout Austria, who donated to the school, improving the infrastructure and increasing the size of the student body. With the help of Vienna Celtic Rugby team, the school has built some of the best facilities in the Murewa area and produced some of the best test scores around.
